Explainer video

Explainer Video (Whiteboard and Hand-Drawn Animation)

An explainer video teaches viewers how a service or process works. AI structures the script as a lesson (the viewer's question, how it works, a concrete benefit, the next step) and creates an illustration for every scene. Each illustration draws itself on screen, a voiceover is added, and on-screen titles and steps carry the message. It is the most instructional format for software, insurance, education and consulting.

Instructional structure

The script follows the order "problem → how it works (2-4 steps) → benefit → next step", with short sentences, plain language and direct address to the viewer as "you".

Self-drawing scenes

The illustration in each scene appears as if it is being drawn on screen. Process, list and comparison scenes are the focus.

Five illustration styles

Whiteboard, blackboard, flat vector, paper cut-out and isometric: you choose the one that suits the tone of your topic, and your brand color is used as the accent.

Voiceover and on-screen text

A professional Turkish or English voiceover is read in a single take, with numbers pronounced correctly. Titles and steps appear on screen and carry the message without a separate subtitle layer.

Illustration styles

Style does not change the price. Each style card notes where it works best and where we would not recommend it, so the choice is easy. You pick one with a single click when you open a project.

Whiteboard

White background, black marker drawings and a single accent color; the most instructive and widely used explainer style.

Avoid: A richer visual style suits luxury brands, where visual spectacle is expected.

Chalkboard

Dark green board with chalk lines; the warmth of a classroom and workshop.

Avoid: Technology and modern finance brands are better served by a cleaner, more contemporary look.

Flat vector

Colorful flat illustration with simple figures and icons; corporate and clean.

Avoid: When the real venue or the product itself needs to be shown, a photographic style is the stronger choice.

Papercut

Layered paper scenes with soft shadows; warm and handcrafted.

Avoid: Less suited to technical B2B storytelling.

Isometric

Bird's-eye, three-dimensional miniature systems for explaining processes, facilities and infrastructure.

Avoid: Less suited to emotion-led or story-driven narratives.

How it works

  1. 1

    Introduce your brand

Share your website, a document or a short form.

  2. 2

    Describe what to explain

One sentence is enough: "The four steps of our insurance claims process, for first-time policyholders." Choose a style; if you like, select "Presenter on screen" and your portrait narrates from the corner.

  3. 3

    Approve the scene plan

The script and scenes are presented to you; edit them and approve.

  4. 4

    Your video is ready

About 15 minutes. Download it or share it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an explainer video and a promo video?+

A promo video presents the brand and its proof points through photographic scenes. An explainer video teaches a single topic: the structure is instructional, the scenes are illustrations, and they draw themselves on screen. If you are answering the question "how does it work?", an explainer video is the right choice.

How does it differ from a product showcase?+

A product showcase is a 12-36 second studio-style video built from product photos; an explainer video is a 30-60 second walkthrough of a process. Use a showcase to present a tangible product and an explainer video to describe how something works.

How many scenes does the video have?+

Between 6 and 10 scenes, depending on the length. Each scene carries one idea and one illustration.

Can I appear in the video myself?+

Yes. When you start a project, tick the "Presenter on screen" option and your portrait narrates from the corner of the screen while the illustrations keep drawing in the background. A presenter video item is added to your cart. If you do not have a portrait yet, you can upload a photo on the My Portrait page, or design a presenter if you prefer not to show your face.

Which visual styles are available?+

Five illustration styles: Whiteboard, Blackboard, Flat vector, Paper cut-out and Isometric. The card for each style on the page lists its best use and when another style may fit better. Your style choice does not change the project total.
