For food exporters: an English presentation and company profile for overseas importers
Sector example: the evidence importers look for (certifications, batch traceability, capacity) and how to prepare an English presentation and company profile.
What does an importer look for?
For an overseas buyer, three things come before taste: food safety certifications (BRCGS, ISO 22000, organic), batch-level traceability with lab analysis reports, and production capacity with reliable delivery. If your website states these clearly, they are picked up into your My Brand information and form the evidence slides of the presentation. If your website does not cover them, you can add them manually on the My Brand page.
Producing in English
When you start a new project, choose English or "Turkish + English" as the language. If you select both languages, a separate presentation is produced for each one. In a video with voiceover, the English narration is read by an English voice, and numbers and addresses are voiced following English reading conventions.
Targeted presentation: the importer's website
In targeted mode, product categories are extracted from the importer's website. The presentation then shows which of their categories your products fit into and what you offer in supply security and document management. Web research adds sourced information on the target market's current requirements and tariff advantages.
“Supply proposal for a Hamburg-based organic food importer, for early harvest olive oil; BRCGS and organic certification are important; the purchasing manager will read it; English.”
Pre-trade-show checklist
- •Are your certifications, capacity and export countries up to date in My Brand?
- •Have you uploaded your product photos? (The company profile and the film use them.)
- •Is your English company profile (PDF) ready, for sharing by email and WhatsApp?
- •Do you have a horizontal promo video for the trade show stand screen and a vertical ad film for social media?
- •Are your price and MOQ details included in the brief? The presentation features the information you provide there.
