My Brand: how to introduce your brand with a website, a document or a short form

Arda Koç·

Every output is built from one brand profile. This guide covers the three ways to introduce your brand, the details that shape results most, and tips for editing.

What is My Brand?

My Brand is the profile of your brand that is extracted once and used in every project. It holds your name, industry, summary, products and services, differentiators, key messages, target audience, proof points (years in business, number of clients, certifications), contact details, tone of voice and visual identity. Presentations, promo videos, ad films, posters and company profile documents all draw on this profile, so the more accurate My Brand is, the better each output will be.

Three ways to introduce your brand

  • •Website: the richest result. Up to 8 pages are read, including the home page, the about page and your service pages.
  • •Document (PDF or Word): your company profile, catalogue or presentation. Use a file that contains selectable text, so the information can be read from it.
  • •Short form: if you have no website or document, fill in 4 required fields (name, industry, what you do, region) and up to 11 optional ones. Only what you write is used, and if a key detail is missing, up to 3 short questions are asked.

The details that shape the result most

Proof points (years in business, number of clients, number of projects, certifications, awards, location) determine how credible your content feels. If they are not on your website, add them by hand on the My Brand page. Differentiators work best when they are concrete, such as "delivery in 24 hours" or "our own in-house laboratory", because specific statements carry through into the content. Your contact details appear on closing cards and posters, so add them if they are missing.

Logo and brand colour

A transparent PNG logo gives the best result, and a reversed-colour version for dark backgrounds is created automatically. Your brand colour is used for highlights, cards and the end card of your film. You can upload the logo in high resolution; it is resized automatically for each output.

Working with more than one brand

If you run an agency or a business with several brands, you can add each brand on the My Brand page. Every brand keeps its own source, logo and colour, and when you start a new project you choose which brand it is for.
