Poster and social media graphics: what to check when text is part of the image

Arda Koç·

How many words a headline needs, how to enter figures and which format suits which channel: practical rules for a clear, readable AI-made poster.

How a poster is created

The poster is planned first: a headline (up to 7 words), a subheading, up to 4 cards (figure plus label), a call to action and contact lines. The visual is then generated, and a visual check confirms that every line of text is spelled exactly as you wrote it and follows standard English capitalization. If a line does not pass, the visual is generated again. Your own logo file is placed in the footer strip afterwards, so it appears exactly as you supplied it.

Headline

Keep it short and built around one idea: “Mortgage Rates from 2.85%” or “Book Your First Exam”. A shorter headline can be set in larger type and is read at a glance. If you leave the field empty, the system drafts a headline from your brand profile and your brief.

Highlights (cards)

Each line becomes one card, for example “Personal Loan 3.89%”. Figures appear exactly as you enter them, and when you enter none, the poster carries no figures. Up to four cards keep the layout clear and easy to read.

Call to action and contact details

Choose a single call to action, such as “Apply Today” or “Book an Appointment”. The phone number and web address come from your brand details; to show a different number, change it in the form. The poster shows the contact details you provide.

Format and channel

  • •Square 1:1: Instagram and LinkedIn feeds
  • •Vertical 9:16: Stories, Reels covers, WhatsApp status
  • •Landscape 16:9: websites, screens, LinkedIn
  • •4:5: a larger presence in the Instagram feed

A poster for another brand

If you are an agency or a dealer, choose your client's website or PDF as the source. The name, industry, tagline, contact details and colors are taken from that source, so the poster carries your client's identity throughout.
